Your individual will
Work through your family, executors, gifts, estate, and wishes, then decide when the structured summary is ready to submit for review.
For clients
Prepare an individual will, coordinate separate mirror wills with a partner, or set out instructions for either type of England and Wales LPA. Keep the wider estate in one private place and speak securely with the adviser who already knows you.
What you can expect
Your progress saves as you move through the journey.
Your adviser cannot open unfinished will or LPA instructions.
Ask questions, receive updates and see agreed actions in the secure portal.
Marriage, divorce, children, a move, or other changes can start a review.
Choose the right journey
Work through your family, executors, gifts, estate, and wishes, then decide when the structured summary is ready to submit for review.
You and your partner each join and consent separately. Your drafts, decisions, documents, and execution records remain independent—not one shared will.
Prepare donor instructions separately for a property and financial affairs LPA, a health and welfare LPA, or both, before human review.
Keep a private record of important assets, liabilities, pensions, policies and trusted contacts, then choose exactly what to share.
Testament records your proposed choices for review. It does not create signatures, act as a certificate provider, produce an official LP1F or LP1H form, send an application to the Office of the Public Guardian, or show that an LPA is valid or registered. Those legal steps follow the service agreed with your adviser.
The will journey
Open the invitation sent by your adviser and establish your private session.
Tell us about family, executors, gifts, your estate, and your wishes in plain English.
Check a structured summary and correct anything before you submit.
Respond to reviewer questions, understand the outcome, and follow the signing and witnessing guidance provided for your service.
Record execution, keep a signed scan if enabled, and report later life changes.
When something needs more care
Business interests, overseas assets, trust wishes, agricultural property, exclusion concerns, or questions about capacity can change the route. They raise a flag for a human conversation rather than producing improvised legal wording.
What a flag means
Your choices and access
Your working will or LPA instructions belong to your session. Advisers see progress status, not the content itself, until submission or resubmission.
A stored scan remains private unless you grant a linked adviser access to that specific document.
You can revoke a document grant so it cannot be used for a new adviser download.
Common questions
The guided questions are designed for roughly 15–20 minutes for a straightforward will. You can stop and return rather than complete everything at once.
Not while the draft is unfinished. The adviser can see journey status; the structured review view becomes available after you submit.
The journey raises bounded flags for human review. Unsupported complexity does not produce guessed or AI-written legal wording.
No. Each person has a separate account, draft, review history, document, and execution record. Joining or leaving the coordination does not let one person open the other’s private answers.
No. It means the instruction set is ready for the agreed next step. Official forms, signing, witnessing, certificate provision, notification, and OPG registration happen separately.
Will journeys are scoped to England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland require different legal routes.
Your adviser firm decides how fees are presented and will explain the service and review arrangement before you begin.
